Tonight at 7 PM SLT Cypress Rosewood - with some support from his human Tony Gerber - will perform a live show of his unique brand of 'Space' Music at the Rezzable Visions sim. The artist currently displaying at this Visions sim is Wizard Gynoid, with a gigantic - and to me very impressive but oh so confusing - virtual E8 polytope build.  A “Polytope” is a higher dimension polyhedron and the E8 Polytope lives in the 8th Dimension. Our minds can't intuit what an eight-dimensional object looks like - so it's not just me ;) -, but we can perceive its two and three-dimensional “shadows.” That and in Wizzy's Second Life build, you can walk around in it! Might help you to grasp it too!  The shadows of the E8 are stunningly symmetrical and exceedingly beautiful.

Wizard Gynoid opens the world of the 8th Dimension on the Second Life virtual world grid today. It is a stunning and intriguing area where math and high concept energize the 3D web. Rezzable is inviting artists and creative builders to use the Rezzable Visions sim for one month. Design something really cool--it can be all yours. Showcase your work, use the space to take your ideas to the next level. You can work with alone or with your mates. Maybe the whole grid will know about it. Sim is available from 1 October.
