*humms* And all great things come to and end... *end humming* From the beginning we knew the Garden one day - June 24th to be more exact - had to disappear, cease virtual existence, evaporate from the grid, be buried, ... whatever you want to call it. It's a sad thing that we can't preserve this for people eternally, but there's lot of photographic and machinima footage, and we all KNOW it was awesome.

The Garden of NPIRL Delights is coming to and end TODAY and a few from the artists have decided to give away parts of their artwork, or even the entire builds! Which artists, you'll wonder?

The T61 festival day at Gardenstock was one filled with great live music, friendly people and some technical issues: all performers gave the best of themselves, the public was in party modus and even pretty wild and Linden Lab decided Saturday is a great day for rolling restarts. Yeey!

Charlanna Beresford at New World Notes picks tomorrow's Gardenstock music festival at the Garden of NPIRL Delights as this week's top pick. Festival features star live music artists from the61.

The Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights would not have been possible without Miss Bettina Tizzy. With her inexhaustible energy, her NPIRL group that gathers the best 'virtual artists' and her huge knowledge of the 'Not Possible In Real Life' scene, she was the best partner possible for 'Gardening'. Without Bettina, the 100+ artists could not have displayed their work in the Garden of NPIRL Delights, and without Bettina, we would not have a Garden to stroll in, to explore, to surprise us over and over.

Yeey! Week 2 of the Exploration Diary of Greenie #42. Regardless how much I love writing Greenies' adventures, I could not do this without the awesomeness that my co-writer 'Bored' is. Keep posted, we'll continue exploring!

Music in the virtual world is thriving: lot's of DJ's, great parties and awesome Live Performances which you can attend regardless what 'real world' continent you inhabit. Just like the internet, this offers musicians the opportunities to get their songs heard by a much broader public, gaining new fans and feedback from people they would probably else never reach. The virtual world added another aspect to that: interaction.

Another lovely machinima, recorded for 95% at the Garden of NPIRL Delights. The other 5% is at the Kill.all.artists. show by Danone, thus also on Rezzable grounds. Whilst listening to Pink Floyd's truly amazing songs 'Hey You!' and 'Breath in the Air' I recognized the following builds: Elizabeth Tinsley's 'Earth Laughs in Flowers' and Alpha Auer's virtual bath tubs. Which other creators and builds are featured in this machinima?

Halmisamisa's machinima would have gone unnoticed by me, was it not for Mr Mal Burns. Ty!

It was brought to our attention the p_OO_f Gallery has placed for sale some photos of the Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights. This has upset the artists which work was on sale: they were never asked for permission for the sales of their works. Neither were they given proper attribution for the time and effort they put into the builds. Rather, the seller claimed the items on sale as 'copyrighted to me'.

All works at the Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights are put up under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial license unless the respective artist specifies a different license. This license information is made clear on the Garden website as well as at the official entrace to the Garden of NPIRL Delights. More information on the license at the Garden.

This license was violated in two ways:

1. Not given proper attribution to the artists and claiming ownership of the copyright.
2. Selling the works without prior consent of the artists in question.

Rezzable employees on behalf of the artists spoke to the seller and explained that all the copyright of all contents in SL belong to the person who created the original works, according to the DMCA act, Linden Lab's ToS and - specific for the Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights - our Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial License.

The seller has taken down all the photographs in-world and/or set them to 'no sale' with attribution and states no sales of the photographs have been made. She also chose to take down the photographs on Flickr, in stead of adding the correct attribution information to them.
