Getty today told the New York Times that photographers typically earn between $150-$240 (£75-£121) for each rights-managed image that is sold, and $50 (£25) for a non-exclusive image.
So, 1) gee whiz that ain't a lot of dough? 2) wow, they paying real money and not lindens 3) Hellman and Friedman spend a lot of money (2.4 billion) for the archive (=dead photographers) and not a lot of new ones! 4) if they ask me I am happy to sell non-exclusive hehe (er..link here
