Fans have voted, and chosen their top 12 favorites to be shown in the Machinima Festival.  It was great to see people support the machinima makers and to perhaps find new favorites.  On Friday the 24th at the Cannery will be shown the 12 chosen machinimas.  Without further ado I will announce the top 12. 

With a landslide in votes Halden Beaumont took top honors for his beautiful machinima "Beyond Magic".  Next it was Mescaline Tammas with her fun music machinima "Duran Duran Second Life Machinima Mashup" featuring Duran Duran's classic songs.  Krrish Spyker's supernatural machinima "The Vistor" rounds out the top 3.  

We have had such a great response to the Machinima Festival Nominations, that we are extending the voting period till Sunday, Oct 19th.  So if you haven't had a chance to vote for your favorite machinima yet, now's the time to do so.  Be sure to check out the videos, and vote!  The most popular machinims at this moment:

Rezzable presents the 2008 Global Music Festival live on the grid, sponsored by Languagelab. The festival is a month long showcase for live DJs and performers working with non-English based lyrics and international beats. Great sounds and energy will flow across the metaverse.
