We have had such a great response to the Machinima Festival Nominations, that we are extending the voting period till Sunday, Oct 19th.  So if you haven't had a chance to vote for your favorite machinima yet, now's the time to do so.  Be sure to check out the videos, and vote!  The most popular machinims at this moment:

After much deliberation selection has been narrowed down to 24 machinimas, that are now up for your consideration.  Only the top 12 will go on to the Rezzable Machinima Festival.  Please take the time to review and vote on who you would like to see at the festival!  This is a chance to celebrate the talented machinima makers by showcasing their work at the festival.  Good luck to everyone.

Rezzable is searching for the 12 best Machinimas made in SL.  From now till September 30th this blog is open to people nominating who -they- is the best 12 to be represented in the upcoming Machinima Festival.  Machinimas eligible for consideration are those that have been made between September 1, 2007 and September 30th, 2008 taken in Second Life.  So yes this means new, just released machinimas are eligible.  On September 30th, the nominations will be narrowed down to the top 24, where then voting will take place by YOU in deciding which 12 will participate in the festival.  When nominating a machinima, please provide a link.  Thank you and good luck to everyone!

After hours of intense deliberation (read: it was just plain hard to choose!) over the amazing entries for "The Face of the Darklands" contest, 16 finalists have been chosen to rock the catwalk for the upcoming fashion show next Saturday. The lucky ladies include Mavi Beck, Neferi Chajit, Aramanth Demonia, Akasha Divisadero, LuLu Francis, Elusyve Jewell, Achariya Maktoum, and krismorel Nishi.

Hair Fair 2008 is fast approaching, and with as many designers out there in the virtual world there creating and shaping hair, we know that some may not have received an invitation yet, or may not be aware such an annual event exists .

It is up to you hair lovers as well to make sure that your favourite secret hair designer, doesn't miss out on this wonderful opportunity for grid wide exposure. If you are a hair creator or know of some, especially some were English isn't their first language, then please do your best to make sure they know about Hair Fair 2008.
