When I first joined SL, I quickly discovered Ivalde and her collection of discounted clothes.  At the time, I was living off sploders and didn't have much money to spend.  What I got from Ivalde only whetted my appetite for more, and when I finally did have the means to buy clothes other than those on the "discount rack", Ivalde was one of the first places I went.

The clothes that I had been drooling over for months did not disappoint.  Neferia was one of the few designers at the time, who had put in as much effort into her discounted/free outfits as she had her regular priced items.

After the great success of Fashion Inspired by Black Swan - with great designers such as Sissy Pessoa, Kuranosuke Kamachi, Digit Darkes, Roslin Petion, Rebel Hope, Nicky Ree, Eshi Otawara, Hyasynth Tiramisu, Draconic Lioncourt, and Callie Cline - we are now organising the second one called Passions of Black Swan to get you inspired. Passion could be the fire, the angel, lovers, water or anything you find in Black Swan... or the ropes, as featured in this excellent photograph. ;)

Miss Chrisy Jewell fights Miss Cleo Carbetta over who shopped the most beautiful gown at Black Swan. Battle of the dresses/fashionistas!

'This is what you get when you put to shopaholics together...picking a fight over who got the most beautiful outfit from the Black Swan Rezzable sim... There wasn't a winner though because both outfits are amazing! Chrisy is wearing Eshi Otawara's Black Swan Ballerina dress and I'm wearing Rebel Hope's Wishbringer. Rezzable's sim most famous for its creativity, is the Black Swan sim. It showcases some of SL's most talented builders, which produces an atmosphere that inspires. Rezzable has invited some of the most sought after designers to come and draw inspiration from Black Swan to create a special edition masterpiece. One of the designers participating is Draconic Lioncourt of Draconic Kiss. Known for her lolita, historical, and fetish designs, Drac's first impressions of the Black Swan sim were, in her own words: "(It's) like its a series of random images that flow somehow and I liked that.

Up in the Northern Hemisphere, Summer has just begun. Second Life of course doesn't have seasons, but I still clad myself in sun-warmed clothes this week to go hang out in barns and in wheat fields which are drying before the harvest. I began with a dress from Carnival of Doom—called Zemfira, it is created by Hyasynth Tiramisu, the designer for Silent Sparrow. The dress features many of Hyasynth's trademarks including hand drawn style and shading, a tiered skirt, and numerous wear options—it also comes in her usual wide array of color choices, but I fell in love with the pumpkin tone and so I'm wearing it here.
