Skatefest at the Cannery: Buy a pair of skates and get your friend skates for free

Greenies Skatefest at the Cannery

As we speak, (amazing) builder Beatrix Newt is creating a skate park at the Rezzable Cannery. We'll open the skating area it with festivities and a 'Buy 1 pair, get 1 pair free for a friend' sales on the Greenies skates tomorrow, the 20th of August from 1PM to 3PM SLT. This means that if you buy a pair, you may IM Verde Raymaker with the name of your friend - or partner, or lover - whom you want to receive a free pair. That way it's easier - and cheaper - to have fun together.  Be prepared to get your groove & skates on!

We don't discriminate, so feel free to bring your inline skates, skateboard or even your virtual BMX. Cars are not allowed, though! ;) For now, the big half-pipe is done, so we won't stop you from practising ahead, but - please! - don't run over Miss Beatrix.  See you at the fun box, and don't worry. I can't virtually skate - yet - either.

Poison Candy's New Releases

Poison Candy Wedding DressPoison Candy rocks us hard with their newest releases, found at The Cannery! You couldn't believe my delight when I was informed of the new releases and I just had to rush over to the Cannery to see them for myself. Nestled in a corner of the store, they just POP with bold color. Totally rockabilly!

Group Exhibition at Cannery Closes, makes room for RFL Photo Exhibition

After a month of showcasing their best works at Rezzable's Cannery, virtual photography artists Stephen Venkman, Raul Crimson, Kimberly Mirabeau and Marianne McCann have taken their works of art back into their inventory. They make place for a noble cause: the Relay For Life Photography Exhibition, organised by Claudia Mantis for the Relay Raiders.

We like to thank the artist for sharing their great photographs with us, and hope we can work with them again. In case you missed the exhibition - or if you just can't get enough of it, here's some more information about the artists and where you can visit their work:

Virtual photographers showcase their work at the Rezzable Cannery

'The Cannery is dead! Hail the Cannery!' No, the Cannery did not disappear of the virtual map. It just got a make over and a change of concept: we are still offering virtual photography artist a chance to display their work and to show it to a bigger audience. Participating artists at the Cannery have free choice as to how they choose to display their work and if they want to sell or not. The only limitations? Time and prim limit! ;)

Artists showcasing their great photography work until the 12th of June are:

Raul Crimson
Prad Prathivi
Marianne McCann
Kimberly Mirabeau
Stephen Venkman

A beautiful statement from Raul Crimson: 'I’m an avatar, i’m a lover, a dreamer… I’m all that and nothing of that at the same time. I’m contradiction, i’m weakness… I’m human.'

Visit their exhibitions in-world, they are definitely worth of your time! It's via here and then the first hangar on your left behind the triptych. ;)
