Last two days Greenies forgot to send gifts to those brave avatars who help to them keep their kitchen clean from the 8-legged pests we call 'virtual roaches'. Our cute extraterrestrials apologise, and wish to say they rectified that error and do appreciate the loyalty of their pest control troops! Rezzable presents the 2008 Global Music Festival live on the grid, sponsored by Languagelab. The festival is a month long showcase for live DJs and performers working with non-English based lyrics and international beats. Great sounds and energy will flow across the metaverse. August 8, 2008 is not only a normal date but sumthin special to me. In germany we write dates like this 08.08.08, was this a sign? I think 'yes, certainlyi!' That and a very splendid timing too. :-)  Anyway let me tell you what has happened to me on August 8. All good stuff, I assume you! After long time did not see my Mr. Green and after a full schedule in RL and SL i decided to send Mr. Green an IM, asking 'Wassup, whats new, also busy?' and so on.

Greenies ride for free--but you gotta be a Greenie first.

So visitors to the Greenies areas will now need to either wear their Greenie avatar (and we have sooo many nice ones now to choose from or mix, match 'em) or if you want to maintain your humanoid or otherwise avatar you need to wear the magic decodermembership ring (well, it doesn't really decode anything yet). We appreciate the support of one of secondlife's most treasured and beloved areas. Plus, we threw other freebies into the ring package. Groovy diamond-studded ring, but tiney prim stud Spiral Walker.

Wellies or as Americans call them, galoshes, have arrived at Greenies! They come in a variety of bright, fun colors, my favorite being the ladybug. Made from sculpties, they have an ultra realistic look, with a variety of styles ranging from skulls to flowers. Only 275L to own a pair, and available only in the sandbox at Greenies. So don't delay and snatch yours up before a greenie comes and zaps them all away.

By majority of votes, this means that Miss Whalen wins 2000 L$, a Greenies Avatar of her choice, a Zapgun (Transferable Gift Box) and a Hooverboard (Transferable Gift Box)AND her Doormat was rezzed to stay at the Greenies Lawn Sim.

If you read my first blog post 'Kryptonia Paperdoll's Virtual Love Affair you might notice the day that Mr. Green and I start dating.. err... I mean the day I met him and fell terribly in love. *grins* Oh, did you saw it? Really? Cool, so you notice its July 17, 2007 right? So it means our yayyyyyyyyyy first year anniversary hooooooo!

... but that day was not a nice one for us, both being stuck on work and we did not get to celebrate on time. *sniff* So today, July 20, 2008, Mr. Green send me an IM and asked me if I got a few minutes for him. Of course, I said yes!

With only 492 ever produced, the Stratos - Lancia's famous 1970-1980 racing car - is very rare to this day. You'd have to be very lucky to own one in real life. But in the virtual world, everything is possible, right? Greenies are happy to announce that somewhere hidden on the kitchen shelves, they found two - green, duh! - Stratos scale models still in their original wrapping. Greenies seeing everything in 28:1 makes that their 'scale models' of the Stratos perfectly fit a human avatar for racing. Isn't that convenient? ;)
