Rezzable presents the 2008 Global Music Festival live on the grid, sponsored by Languagelab. Lately, people seem to blame Greenies for everything: extinction of the dinosaurs, high fuel prices, ... and now also inventory loss. I must admit, I did chuckle twice or trice, when coming across these photographs in Dakota Yue's Flickr Stream. Although Greenies only wanted to lend a hand - and hoverboard-, using their speedy vehicles for the purpose of helping Miss Yue sort her inventory & move without her getting back injuries, she all of the sudden started screaming: 'Hold the thiefs! This is an inventory loss plot!'

New in the Greenies 'Gear & Gadgets' department (TP) is the Greenies Midnight Hoverboard, a stylish virtual transportation for those with a need of speed.. and balancing skills. Where the normal Greenies Hooverboard was mostly known for it's speed and racing capabilities, the Midnight Hooverboard has all that and adds a stylefish, futuristic, black with neon exterior to it.  Adapting a more human and less extraterrestrial product design, the Greenies design team has outdone itself yet again!

Keeping all normal hooverboard functions, and on top of the shiny black armoured exterior, the Midnight Hooverboard comes with a coloured front piece and back lighting, to avoid mid-air collisions. Colour those part red, blue, yellow, pink, ... according to your needs, mood or to match your outfit. As usual, the Midnight Hooverboard is no-mod/copy/trans, so no way you can loose it.

Hi all, I need some advice on virtual love! As you might know, I am currently engaging in a relationship with Miss Kryptonia, and don't be mistaken, I love her dearly! Although both our schedules are that busy that they do not always allow us to meet, I cherish every moment I get to spend with her. 

Greenies are looking for entertaining and enthusiastic staff members - DJ's and Hosts - to help entertain and enlarge an large audience of new residents as well as seasoned Greenies fans.  Payment happens in L$ and there is a wide range of extralegal benefits: cars, avatars, backpacks, clothing, ... depending on how enthousiastic you are.  We appreciate people that are not scared to take initiative, throw theme parties, enjoy sports (zapgun shooting, racing, skating, hunting roaches, ...) peepz that know how to get a crowd going. Evenly important is not being allergic to virtual roaches and knowing how the invite to group button works. Oh, and we just love people who want to give blogging about Greenies Events a try and can handle SL snapshotting & Flickr. Speaking & typing multiple languages is an advantage.

As we speak, (amazing) builder Beatrix Newt is creating a skate park at the Rezzable Cannery. We'll open the skating area it with festivities and a 'Buy 1 pair, get 1 pair free for a friend' sales on the Greenies skates tomorrow, the 20th of August from 1PM to 3PM SLT. This means that if you buy a pair, you may IM Verde Raymaker with the name of your friend - or partner, or lover - whom you want to receive a free pair. That way it's easier - and cheaper - to have fun together.  Be prepared to get your groove & skates on!

We don't discriminate, so feel free to bring your inline skates, skateboard or even your virtual BMX. Cars are not allowed, though! ;) For now, the big half-pipe is done, so we won't stop you from practising ahead, but - please! - don't run over Miss Beatrix.  See you at the fun box, and don't worry. As I listen to A Sunday in August by Dres Forder on the Sixty one site I am thinking we should have set this music event on Sunday. It would have been just perfect ! Well,  a Saturday in August,  Greenies home sim and the Greenies Lawn will be filled with his soft voice and tunes to his guitar .

If you like alternative folk then  Dres will touch your soul with his beautiful music. If you have never listened to him before listen to his music here at 61. I don't know you guys but I am already a great big fan and I will be by the camp fire in the Greenies lawn waiting for my marshmallows as I gather with friends.
