Yesterday evening Rezzable's CEO RightasRain Rimbaud was a guest at Paisley Beeebe's Tonight Live. RightasRain talks about the concept behind Rezzable, introducing entrance fee at Black Swan and Greenies, revenue streams in SL, Second Life Art and the future of Second Life.
Take a look at the Tonight Live recording at the SLCN website and hear RightasRain's view on the SL economy, the l'Oreal promotion at Greenies, marketing in Second Life and virtual worlds in general. Some interesting questions answered: 'What is the overall goal of Rezzable? How did it start? Why did it start? And what is the overall goal now?'
Other guest on the show were Bettina Tizzy from Not Possible in Real Life (the blog) and RoseDrop Rust who performed his song Straw.

Thanks for posting this,
Mon, 08/25/2008 - 20:18 — Ravin LunaseaThanks for posting this, Vint... it was enlightening to see RaR on Paisley's show, and I think there's a lot of benefits to maybe appearing on shows like that from time to time--not only because it increases awareness of the Rezzable team's work and the events going on, but also because it gives people a chance to hear RaR explain what's going on and his reasons for making this decision or that decision. I think it's fair to note that his concerns about Second Life's future and the viability/methods of doing business in an ever-changing, unpredictable platform like Second Life are legitimate. Rezzable has done a lot to make Second Life more interesting and more entertaining to visit, although I can only honestly speak from my own experience. I hope RaR (and others involved with Rezzable) consider sitting in as guests at these kinds of shows in the future.
