Shai Delacroix and Jonny Dusk let you express your own "Passions of Black Swan."

Casa del Shai has been one of my most favorite of the favorite stores since I discovered it almost a year ago.  When I think of Shai Delacroix's designs, I think of edgy elegance and the very height of style in SL fashion.  High praise, yes..but if anyone deserves it, it's this long-time creator of the "classy pixels" (as she calls them). 

Imagine my excitement when we she agreed to participate in Passions of Black Swan!  I couldn't wait to see what would inspire her.  It turns out, the answer is...Tim Burton!  I talked with Shai as the designers were setting up, and she told me the statue of the ballerina within Black Swan mixed with her love of Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Beetle Juice" to create this dark ballerina dress she calls "Rosalind."  This dress is just the first peek at her soon-to-be-released new collection.

Aemilia Case of Philotic Energy loved it so much too that she popped it on right as we were all talking and took this gorgeous picture.  The sheer top is accented by swirled appliques, melting into a feathery tutu, echoing the black swan theme.  The dress makes her a piece of art amongst Light Waves' many beautiful creations within Black Swan.

But once you get the dress, how do you become your own artistic expression of Black Swan?  You can with Jonny Dusk of 5ifth Order's Black Swan pose back recently made available exclusively for the Passions of Black Swan!

Jonny Dusk is one of the most creative artists I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know.  He often refers to himself in the third person as "Dog," and if you happen to catch him out and about, you'll get to see one of his many characters he's created.  Influenced by comic books and anime, Jonny dreams up a character with his or her own story and characteristics before he creates the poses for that character.  In fact, he created a character named "Black Swan" that I will introduce very soon in an upcoming article!

His three poses now for sale at Black Swan were created with the idea that anyone could take a piece of Black Swan with him or her by becoming one of the pieces of art within it.  You can be the graceful ballerina that forever remains posed above the dreamy greeny blue water.  You can take flight like the Night Dreamer and raise your face to the wind.  Or, you can descend into the darkness and become the enternally-bound Angel.
